Environmental corporate social responsibility (ECSR) is a type of corporate social responsibility (CSR) that has grown in popularity among organizations. Previous research suggests that ECSR programs are a way for organizations to increase competitiveness and to attract talented employees. This study builds upon previous research and investigates the effects that ECSR programs may have on attracting potential job seekers. A survey was conducted where participants were placed within one of three different types of CSR conditions including environmental, charity, and neutral. Two hypotheses and one research question were tested. Final results were contrary to previous research findings that suggest ECSR programs have significant effects on job seeker pursuit intentions. Results comparing CSR programs being advertised via website format and newspaper formats also yielded no significant findings. Areas of potential future research as well as explanations of possible reasons for the results are discussed.en_US
