dc.description.abstract This study aims to understand the Burundian community in Nashville, especially their children’s integration and adjustment in the host culture. It examines experiences, perceptions, and feelings of Burundian refugee children in their integration in America in the last ten years of being resettled in the US. This project seeks to understand how Burundian Refugee children, who are resettled in Nashville, Tennessee, have been affected by their adjustment to the American culture, and why some of the Burundian refugee children are marginalized and /or seen caught between their native culture and the host community culture. en_US
