dc.description.abstract | Godzilla serves as a modern work of mythology. It is a medium for the Japanese people to interpret and process the problems of the times, and a meter for analysts to judge the significance of these problems. When faced with anxieties over economic, political, and social issues, which the members of society cannot control, the Godzilla films are an outlet to express them. Since 1945, Godzilla has been a method for exposing and overcoming the problems facing society in a way people personally cannot. | en_US |
