dc.description.abstract The goal of this project was to create an emotionally impactful and visually beautiful Virtual Reality short film. In addition to telling a compelling story, we wanted to utilize and display the cutting edge VR technology granted to the program, as well as show off the skill of our upper-division animation students. The work was done by a team of animators and myself, led by Animation Professors Rodrigo Gomez and Richard Lewis. In addition to the film, I analyze the history of storytelling and how it changes based on the advancement of technology; specifically virtual reality and its potential as a storytelling medium. en_US
