Abstract
The focus of this creative thesis is to experiment with the nuances of literary
innocence. More specifically, this thesis looks at instances of an actor projecting
innocence on an object, and the inevitable confrontation that the relationship between
them demands. Through the medium of four unique short stories and an accompanying
epilogue, innocence objectified is examined in how it affects both the object and the
individual who objectifies.
