dc.description.abstractI was blessed to find my passion early in life. At the young age of eleven, I knew I wanted to be a pilot. I have carried that desire with me for a decade, and it has brought me to this point. After completing my flight training at Middle Tennessee State University, I decided to put my skills to the test by competing in the all women Air Race Classic during the summer of 2018. I raced a plane from Texas to Maine. This thesis is the compilation of how I made it happen and the actual story of the race.en_US
